Types of Anonymice
Genesis
The first collection of Anonymice. 10000 were initially available, but the unique burn-to-mint mechanic lead to the burning of all but 3550. The rest exist at an inaccessible burn address, effectively removed from supply. Genesis Mice produce 1 $CHEETH per day when staked, a utility token used in the Anonymice ecosystem. $CHEETH uses have included minting and breeding, with more coming in future Anonymice collections.

Baby
A collection of 3550 Baby Mice mintable by breeding two Genesis Mice. It costs 50 $CHEETH to breed, and after 7 days the new baby can be revealed. Baby Mice owners get the same special Discord access as Genesis Mice, including the #mice-alpha channel. Some lucky breeders will even reveal 1 of 9 legendary babies, each with a special 1-of-1 design like the Robomouse pictured above. Future utility including parents and babies has been confirmed.

Two Genesis Mice can be bred to get a baby with traits based on its parents, with a small chance at breeding 1 of 9 legendaries. Incubator images dynamically update to reflect the time (in Ethereum blocks) until reveal, and this rendering occurs 100% on-chain. Read more about breeding in the Breeding Primer.

All Genesis Mice and Baby Mice give owners access to special Discord channels, including the popular #mice-alpha. Members share quality NFT/DeFi info constantly, uncovering popular projects before they receive wider attention. Some projects even reserve whitelist spots for Mice, which go to #mice-alpha members.

Burning
10000 Genesis Mice were minted, but only 3550 are available due to the project's unique minting process. After the first 2000 were minted, the rest were only mintable by spending $CHEETH or sacrificing your own existing Mice to a burn address. These Mice became forever inaccessible and, in the case of #7767 pictured above, legends in the Mice universe. Read more about the innovative minting process in the Project Intro.
Breeding
In October 2021, Anonymice introduced the first fully on-chain breeding NFT collection ever created. The collection introduced the concept of dynamic incubator images that display a built-in countdown based on Ethereum blocks, a remarkable innovation in the realm of on-chain development. Breeding will remain ongoing until all 3550 Baby Mice have been minted.
Future Plans
Mouse Dev has consistently kept things under wraps with regard to the next phase after breeding. Utility involving parents and babies together has been confirmed, and rumors about further Mice development include mutation and evolution. Amidst the speculation, the community patiently waits for the next iteration of on-chain brilliance from the development team.
